Course description
This course aims to encourage participants to embrace new methods and techniques of teaching as well as to apply ICT tools in order to motivate students, stimulate their creativity, maximize student engagement and help students succeed.
It is a well-known fact that the world has been evolving and that technology has occupied almost every aspect of our lives. Educators today are faced with many challenges as their own education did not prepare them for a classroom of 21st century. Students are exposed to technology from an early age, their focus has shifted to the Internet, various applications and Social Media, therefore educators should up their game as well. This is why it is important to address the issue of motivation and facilitate teaching by using new and refreshing some “old” motivation strategies in a contemporary classroom.
