Jantar students once again ace their Cambridge exams

For nearly 30 years now, Jantar has been successfully preparing its students of all ages for the internationally recognised Cambridge Assessment English exams, starting from Pre A1 to Proficiency C2. Our preparation courses have been held since day one with great success; as a result, Jantar has been the largest preparation centre in Croatia for over 20 years. Our outstanding success rate had not gone unnoticed by Cambridge and Exam Centre status was given in 2018, which is one of the highest accolades in Jantar's history.

We are proud of the fact that over 130 students have taken Cambridge exams this year despite the difficult circumstances related to the coronavirus pandemic. Not only have they passed their exams, but have been awarded top marks and higher levels were awarded to a number of students. Special congratulations to the 16 candidates that took the C2 Proficiency exam, which is the highest level possible. Very few generally pass this exam but our candidates managed to reach success at their first attempt!

Our annual Cambridge Certificate Presentation Ceremony was held on Saturday 18th September, a memorable and joyous occasion attended by nearly 200 people including our teachers, candidates and their families as to celebrate the great success of our students over snacks and drinks, and by recording this memorable day with our photographer Paula.

This event traditionally symbolises the beginning of the new school year for all our participants and the return of our quality courses along with a motivated and experienced teaching staff. This year is of special importance to Jantar as we have recently become the official Cambridge Exam Center for all of Croatia.
